Register to Vote

Oct. 11 – Deadline to register to vote!

ID required to register:

• Valid Indiana driver’s license
• Valid State of Indiana ID
• Valid military ID (including retired)
• Valid U.S. passport

Register to vote at:

• Any BMV license branch office
• Shelby County Clerk’s office, old court house, Shelbyville
• Family Social Services office
• Online at: Indianavoters.com
• Print voter registration form here

Oct. 27 – First day a confined voter (e.g. nursing home) can vote

• Application required; available at county clerk’s office
• Clerk must receive application by noon Nov. 7

• Deadline for application is midnite Oct. 31 (postmark)

Absentee Voting Times:

• Oct. 24, 25, 26, 27, 28……9 am to 4 pm
• Oct. 29 (Sat)……………9 am to 2 pm
• Oct. 31, Nov. 1, 2, 3, 4……….9 am to 4 pm
• Nov. 5 (Sat)…………….9 am to 2 pm
• Nov. 7……9 am to Noon – deadline to vote absentee

 Nov. 8 – Election Day!
