State Senator Vi Simpson was our keynote speaker at the Shelby County Democrat JJ Dinner in October 2009. Senator Simpson represents citizens in Monroe County, but her long-term dedication to serving all Hoosiers inspired everyone in attendance.
Bob Williams, former Shelbyville Mayor and Police Chief, was in charge of the fundraising raffle at the JJ dinner. Bob is holding a picture drawn by popular political cartoonist, Dee Bonner.
The winner of Dee Bonner’s artwork was Linda Brown.
