Democratic Party Mission Statement
The Shelby County Democratic Party is a progressive organization that encourages everyone in the community to get involved in the political process. We welcome the free expression of ideas from all who want to improve the quality of life in our county. We take seriously the call to protect liberty and justice for every person. We believe responsive government must include listening, problem solving, proactive planning, efficient execution of the plan, follow-up and feedback. Our goal is to make the political experience understandable and effective. We take pride in the process and in our slogan:
